The Broadditch Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is a project located in Kent, UK, developed by Harmony Energy. It has a capacity of 11 MW / 22 MWh and was energized in March 2023. This system utilizes Tesla’s Megapack XL batteries and is managed through Tesla’s AutoBidder software, which autonomously handles trading and operational control. This project contributes to the company’s growing portfolio, which includes several other battery storage assets across the UK​.
