Clay Tye Battery Energy Storage System
One of the largest projects of its kind in the UK at the Clay Tye site in Essex, a total power of 99MW/198MWh. Clay Tye utilises 52 Tesla Megapack lithium-ion batteries along with Tesla’s Autobidder AI software for effective project management and energy capacity trading.
Proactive Security are proud to have worked collaboratively with Tesla and all Stakeholders on ensuring the security and fire packagers were installed in accordance with the programme and energisation of the development.
Installed A BS8418 installation successfully commissioned We are proud to have been provider for the installation of the Security and Fire detection.
Post energisation in 2022 Proactive Security were contracted to implement the response and monitoring plans with future maintenance obligations to ensure system compliance and security of a £75m BESS project.
