The Farnham Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is a 20MW/40MWh project located in Farnham, UK. Developed by Harmony Energy, the project was energized in June 2023 and is part of the company’s growing portfolio of BESS assets. The system will be operated using Tesla’s Autobidder platform, which employs algorithmic trading to optimize energy storage and discharge.

This project represents Harmony Energy’s third BESS installation, following the larger Pillswood (98MW/196MWh) and Broadditch (11MW/22MWh) projects. Farnham’s BESS is intended to support grid stability by storing energy and releasing it during peak demand periods.
